Cause I love to hug. And we’re friends now. So I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I am 24 years old and I live in Texas.
Pink is my most favorite color, if you haven’t already guessed that much. I am very much a girly-girl. I love to wear earrings. I have long very-dark-blonde hair down to my elbows and I love it. I wear shimmery eye powder on a daily basis.
Jesus is my First Love. After Him, my passions include: singing in worship(3-part harmony baby!), loving on kids, and loving on people in general.
I am called to full-time ministry, though I have no details yet. I used to could say what I expected and/or wanted for my life, but God has recently messed that up. He has changed everything I used to think. So I know not what the future holds for me. But I know I will have Him and He’s enough.
I am encourager, so I hope you find yourself encouraged.
I am serious about being friends, so I present this to you. Ask me an extremely random question about myself, then answer it for yourself. This way, we can get to know each other a little better.

Robin,
Do you say ya’ll with a real slow drawl, like most souther girls?
And to answer my own question: I have said ya’ll I think maybe a few times, but never with a drawl.

Sean: Good one! Your question made me smile. I would have to say no. Definitely not slow. And probably not all that southern.
In my singles’ group, there are several who get constantly teased because they sound so country. I am not one of them.

Robin: Since you’re from the south – if someone asks you if you want a coke, what kind of coke do you want?
To answer my own question: I always get whatever is caffiene free, meaning its usually Sprite.
And this is completely unrelated, but what part of TX are you from? I’m from LA.

Thanks for the hug
You look like a great girl! I’m sure you are! The world can be really small through the web, that’s amazing!
Exciting that you are called to fulltime ministry! How do you know you are called to? That totally seems so cool… excited to see what God is up to in your life!
Hug back from the Netherlands

Emily:
I love diet coke. Only from the fountain though. I don’t like it from the can or bottle. Lately, I care more for water than soda because soda makes me thirsty.
I am from Houston. Are you familar with Houston? I have lived in the greater Houston area my whole life, totally at least 8 different cities.
Ruth: I know huh? It’s such a blessing.
I have known since I was about 10 or 11 that I was set apart. And I have just always wanted to be in the ministry. It’s like a driving force. I have a passion for so many different ministries: youth, childrens’, music, singles, evangelism, prayer, i mean, whatever! I really believe God will use me in all of them at different times, just like He has been and is doing. No kidding. It’s exhilerating!
Thanks.

Ok I thought instead of you posting a picture, I shoudl just go to your site and get you all figured out. And don’t feel bad about the southern accent. My sister-in-law has a Kentucky Valley Girl accent that is AWESOME.
Also- do you prefer socks, or barefeet?
April 25, 2007 at 8:46 pm
Jennerith: Thanks. I personally love accents!
Well, I guess barefeet. I don’t mind socks, though. I guess it depends if I am cold or comfortable. I do have one weird quirk. Unless it is very cold, I CANNOT sleep in socks. It is very weird. This has only more recently become the case.
What about you? Which do you prefer?

How can I be from Louisiana and not know about Houston? I’m from Shreveport and only been there a grand total of twice my entire life though. I went to college with a girl from Conroe (I think that’s how you spell it.)
April 26, 2007 at 6:22 pm
Emily: OOhh! You said LA and I thought you meant L.A. As in California. LOL. Yeah, that’s cool.
April 26, 2007 at 6:42 pm
heheheh… I ought to know better than saying “LA” but I always do it anyways.
April 26, 2007 at 6:46 pm
Emily: Well, what’s funny is I just did it in my “What are you doing?” post. I referenced Washington as WA. So that was pretty much like giving you special permission to do it too.

I’m very glad to have met you! Besides 7 years difference in age, we seem to be rather alike. I am also called to full time ministry, but I guess my question is how did you ballance collage with ministry? What education did you pursue? I am still figuring this out myself, but I would like to go to ihop-kc’s ministry school.
